The story
Some warnings arrive too late.
At two seventeen in the morning, Clara Ives opens the bathroom door in Room 1107—four minutes after the hotel warns her not to. By dawn, she is dead.
Forensic auditor Nora Quist expects corrupted records, hidden access, or corporate negligence. Instead, she finds evidence of events that never happened: incompatible rooms, messages written before their recipients arrived, and a memory no one admits to building.
The machine is not forecasting disaster. It is carrying memories from futures that failed.
